Linear & Jira

Task sync setup, two-way sync configuration, status mapping, and write-back behavior.

Setup

Go to Settings > Connections and choose Linear or Jira. For Linear, you'll authorize via OAuth. For Jira, you'll provide your Atlassian workspace URL and authorize access. Wingmnn imports your assigned issues and begins syncing.

Two-way sync

By default, sync is one-way (Linear/Jira to Wingmnn). Enable two-way sync to push changes back. When enabled, status updates, priority changes, and comments you make in Wingmnn are reflected in Linear or Jira within seconds.

Status mapping

During setup, you map your project's workflow states to Wingmnn's status model (todo, in progress, done, cancelled). For example, Jira's 'In Review' might map to Wingmnn's 'in progress'. These mappings are per-project and can be updated anytime.

Write-back behavior

Write-back covers status changes, priority updates, and comments. It does not modify issue titles, descriptions, or custom fields. If a conflict occurs (both sides updated simultaneously), Wingmnn preserves the external system's version and notifies you of the conflict.
